VenueMatcher is iSite Media's media-planning tool for estimating the cost of video advertising on restroom-screen networks inside professional and collegiate sports stadiums and arenas. Pricing is impression-based: the cost of a campaign depends on the venues selected, the number of impressions those venues are projected to deliver during the exact campaign dates chosen, the commercial's length, how many venues are bundled together, and current inventory availability.
Every campaign's cost is calculated the same way:
Four distinct figures matter here, and it's important not to confuse them:
| Term | What it means |
|---|---|
| Venue CPM | A venue's own underlying cost per thousand impressions, based on its historical delivery. This number does not change campaign to campaign. |
| Projected campaign impressions | How many impressions that specific venue is projected to deliver during the exact dates selected — not a generic yearly average. |
| Adjusted campaign CPM | The effective rate per thousand impressions once all pricing adjustments are applied. This is what's actually being paid per impression for that specific campaign — it is not the same number as the underlying venue CPM. |
| Total estimated campaign cost | The final dollar figure: projected impressions × venue CPM, adjusted. |
A venue's underlying CPM is never presented as a final, guaranteed rate on its own — the adjustments below always apply, and projected impressions always vary by the dates selected.
VenueMatcher supports 7.5-, 15-, and 30-second video formats.
| Length | Multiplier |
|---|---|
| 7.5 seconds | 0.65× |
| 15 seconds | 1.00× |
| 30 seconds | 1.80× |
Campaigns require a minimum three-month commitment. Shorter commitments carry a modest premium reflecting the fixed overhead of a shorter contract; longer commitments reduce the effective rate.
| Duration | Adjustment |
|---|---|
| 3 months | +30% |
| 6 months | +20% |
| 9 months | +10% |
| 12 months | Baseline |
| 24 months | −10% |
| 36 months | −15% |
Bundling multiple venues into one package earns a volume discount, based on how many of those venues have confirmed, billable projected delivery for the selected dates.
| Venues in package | Discount |
|---|---|
| 1–4 | None |
| 5–9 | 5% |
| 10–19 | 7.5% |
| 20–49 | 10% |
| 50+ | 15% |
Each venue's current fill level adjusts its rate — a venue with more remaining inventory is discounted; a venue closer to capacity carries a premium. Fully sold-out inventory is not available for purchase.
| Availability | Multiplier |
|---|---|
| Abundant | 0.75× |
| Available | 0.90× |
| Filling Up | 1.00× |
| Limited | 1.10× |
| Near Sold Out | 1.20× |
| Sold Out | Not purchasable |
VenueMatcher projects a venue's delivery for the exact dates an advertiser selects, using live monthly event and impression data where available, and a conservative average-based estimate where it is not. A venue may host professional games, college games, concerts, tournaments, and other events — advertising inventory is not restricted to any single event type, and a venue's schedule is not limited to one league's games.
Because cost follows projected delivery, a campaign scheduled during a quieter period for a given venue will generally show lower projected impressions, and a lower cost, than the same campaign during a busier period. Projected impressions are estimates based on available scheduling data — they are not a guaranteed delivery figure. A venue or time period with confirmed zero projected impressions is not marketed as a free advertising opportunity; it simply is not a deliverable campaign for those dates. Venue-specific availability windows and temporary inventory blackouts are reflected in these projections and in final pricing.
Different venues receive different quotes for the same campaign length and commercial, because each venue has its own underlying CPM and its own projected delivery for the selected dates. The examples below are computed directly from VenueMatcher's production pricing engine as of 2026-10-22. They illustrate the calculation — they are not standing offers or guaranteed quotes, and will change as campaign dates, venue availability, and venue schedules change.
To get a current, campaign-specific estimate for any venue or combination of venues, use VenueMatcher's Manual Package Builder or AI-generated media plan — both use this same calculation.
VenueMatcher multiplies a venue's own cost-per-thousand-impressions rate by the number of impressions actually projected for the advertiser's selected campaign dates, then applies adjustments for current inventory availability, campaign duration, number of venues bundled, and commercial length.
Yes. VenueMatcher's Manual Package Builder lets you select a single venue and generate a cost estimate for it alone, using the same calculation as a full media plan.
Cost is based on the impressions a venue is projected to deliver during the exact dates selected, not a flat yearly average. A campaign during a venue's busier period will generally show higher projected impressions — and cost — than the same length campaign during a quieter period.
A 30-second spot costs 1.8× a 15-second spot, and a 7.5-second spot costs 0.65× a 15-second spot. Campaign duration carries its own adjustment: three-, six-, and nine-month commitments carry premiums relative to the 12-month baseline, while 24- and 36-month commitments receive discounted rates.
Yes. VenueMatcher can build a package spanning any combination of venues in iSite Media's network and will apply a volume discount once a package includes enough venues with real projected delivery.
No. Projected impressions are estimates based on venue event schedules and, where available, live monthly forecasts. They are not a guaranteed delivery figure.
No. These venues host non-MLS events — concerts, other sports, and additional programming — in addition to MLS matches, and advertising inventory is not restricted to one event type.
Shortening the commercial length, choosing a longer campaign commitment, and selecting venues with more available inventory are the three levers that reduce cost in VenueMatcher's model.
